Kelley Greer serves as a business development associate within Southern Power’s acquisitions team. In this role, Kelley is responsible for supporting commercial negotiations and project diligence to acquire new generating assets across all renewable, natural gas and storage technologies in line with Southern Power’s growth strategy.
Kelley has over twelve years of supply chain experience at Southern Company. In her most recent role as a category manager, Kelley supported Power Delivery by leading the Pole Line Hardware and Poles and Structures categories. She was responsible for managing the procurement strategy, supplier performance and savings goals for over $100 million dollars annually. Prior to her current role, she held several roles increasing in responsibility at Southern Nuclear.
Kelley received a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of West Georgia.

Where do you call home? Birmingham, AL
What are your hobbies? I have a Dahlia Flower Garden, and I’m working on expanding it to other kinds of flowers.
What’s the best vacation you’ve taken? My post undergraduate European tour. I went to London, Rome, Capri, Athens and Paros.
Favorite food? Anything that pairs well with red wine.
If you were stuck on an island, what three things would you bring? Satellite radio to call for rescue, lighter for fire and my husband!
