Southern Power owns more than 7,380 megawatts across seven gas plants in Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina.
Southern Power currently owns or operates more than 2,530 megawatts of wind generating capacity at 15 facilities operating or under construction in Kansas, Maine, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and West Virginia.
Southern Power currently owns more than 2,920 megawatts of solar generating capacity at 30 facilities operating or under development in California, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas and Wyoming. Twenty-six of these facilities are co-owned by third parties, with Southern Power having the majority ownership.
